Application Of Titanium And Titanium Alloys In C919

The C919 developed by COMAC is China's first single-aisle trunk aircraft independently developed in accordance with international advanced airworthiness standards and mainstream market standards. It has received a total of 815 orders from 28 customers. On November 27, 2020, the C919 received the first type inspection certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and officially entered the certification flight test stage. It is expected that the first aircraft will be delivered in 2021.

The amount of C919 titanium has reached 9.3%, including 5 series and 6 titanium alloy grades including low strength and high plasticity, medium strength and medium toughness, medium strength and high toughness, and high strength and high toughness.
